This panel will include members of the firm's public policy and law practice, who will discuss the results of the presidential and congressional elections and the implications for the U.S. and Asia business communities, from economic policies to the international trading system.
2021 and beyond will be pivotal years for the U.S. trade, tax, and public policy agenda. This program will involve insightful discussion on how the results of the election may influence the domestic and global business environments and the implications for U.S.-Asia trade and investment.
The panelist include former U.S. Congressmen from both political parties — The Hon. Jeffrey J. Denham, Government Affairs Counselor, Public Policy & Law, former Congressman (Republican-California) and The Hon. Bart Gordon, Partner, Public Policy & Law, former Congressman (Democrat-Tennessee) — as well as Stacy J. Ettinger, Partner, Public Policy & Law, former senior legal and policy adviser to U.S. Senate Democratic Leader, Charles Schumer (Democrat-New York). David K.Y. Tang, Managing Partner, Asia, will moderate the panel.
