Shab Puri

Shab Puri is a partner at the firm. He focuses on energy and infrastructure projects with an emphasis on the development of diverse range of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, storage, biomass, hydrogen, and hydropower.  Shab has extensive experience in representing project developers, contractors and equipment suppliers with engineering, procurement, and construction agreements; equipment supply agreements; operation and maintenance agreements; and long-term service contracts and related matters. Shab also advises clients with power purchase agreements, project related real estate agreements and the acquisition, disposition of project entities and project assets, and general commercial matters. He has more than 20 years of law firm and in-house experience.

Prior to joining the firm, Shab founded and managed a boutique clean energy focused law firm based in San Francisco. He previously worked in the energy and project finance practice group in San Francisco. He also worked as an assistant general counsel for an American energy company, the United States affiliate of a construction engineering company, a German solar developer, and as senior counsel for a global photovoltaic manufacturer, a publicly traded Chinese solar panel manufacturer that was at the time the world’s largest panel manufacturer.
