Rebecca Daniels is a senior associate in the firm’s Real Estate practice. She focuses on planning and environmental law. Rebecca has significant experience in the development process for small, medium, and large schemes, and has assisted clients with their developments within the hotel, care home, retail, residential, and commercial development industries as well as advising local authorities.
She provides strategic advice at an early stage, as well as reviewing policy and application documents (including environmental statements). Rebecca drafts planning obligations including complex viability provisions. She has been advised and assisted in the conduct of planning appeals for clients.
Rebecca supports the Real Estate and Corporate teams in the planning and environmental aspects of acquisitions and disposals. She often drafts planning conditionality in agreements for lease/sale and other contracts. Rebecca negotiates environmental warranties in transactions, in particular for the acquisition and disposal of contaminated and potentially contaminated land.
