K&L Gates Welcomes Returning Tokyo Corporate/M&A Partner
Tokyo - Global law firm K&L Gates LLP has added Tsuguhito Omagari as a corporate/M&A partner in its Tokyo office. Omagari rejoins K&L Gates from local Tokyo firm Sonderhoff & Einsel.
Omagari focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private investment in public entities (PIPEs), private equity, domestic and international joint ventures, real estate investment transactions, and various other corporate and related regulatory matters. He also advises international companies on investing and doing business in Japan.

The Tokyo office of K&L Gates was established in 2010 and comprises more than 20 legal professionals, including 12 partners. Omagari is the second corporate/M&A partner to join the office in as many months, following the recent addition of Dale Araki.
