K&L Gates Secures Victory for Slalom in Patent Troll Case
Austin – K&L Gates recently obtained a pre-answer voluntary dismissal of a patent troll case in the Waco Division of the Western District of Texas on behalf of firm client Slalom, LLC. The case was brought by Noblewood IP, a non-practicing entity controlled by prolific patent troll IP Edge. This dismissal resulted from a series of correspondences the firm sent to Noblewood, each strategically targeting a particular vulnerability in Noblewood’s case.
The K&L Gates patent litigation team representing Slalom in this matter was led by Austin partners Henry Pogorzelski and Stewart Mesher.
