K&L Gates Again Among Top Firms for Most First-Tier Rankings in U.S. News ‘Best Law Firms’ Survey
Pittsburgh - Global law firm K&L Gates LLP has earned 170 first-tier practice rankings — and more than 270 rankings overall — in the 2017 edition of the U.S. News-Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” survey, released today. With more than 40 National first-tier rankings and nearly 130 first-tier honors across 22 state and metropolitan areas in 71 different practice groups, K&L Gates continues to rank among the top five firms for most National tier 1 rankings, out of more than 13,000 law firms ranked. K&L Gates also ranks within the top 10 firms for both most regional tier 1 and overall tier 1 recognitions, honors the firm has held for each of the past seven years since the survey’s inception.

The U.S. News-Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” survey is based on the feedback of more than 21,000 lawyers and clients throughout the United States, and ranks firms in nearly 200 national, state, and metropolitan practice areas.
The “Best Law Firms” rankings follow a number of other recent recognitions for K&L Gates, including being named a top 10 firm for client service excellence in the “2016 BTI Client Service 30”; a Top 10 Family Friendly Firm of 2016 by Yale Law Women; one of the best-known global and U.S. law firm brands in Acritas’2016 Global Elite Brand Index and U.S. Law Firm Brand Index 2016, respectively, as well as in BTI’s 2016 Brand Elite survey; among the top corporate law firms in the United States by Corporate Board Member magazine; and, for a sixth straight year, one the world’s leading law firms for global depth and breadth by legal news outlet Law360.
