K&L Gates Advises Tempus Capital on PostCon Acquisition

Global law firm K&L Gates advised Frankfurt-based private equity investor Tempus Capital in connection with the acquisition – and its financing – of Postcon National GmbH and its subsidiary mailworXs GmbH, both sold by private equity fund Quantum Capital Partners.

With an annual mailing volume of more than half a billion letters, Postcon National is one of Germany's largest private mail service providers. The Ratingen-based B2B specialist reaches every household nationwide in cooperation with partners and its own network. Large customers such as banks, insurance companies, energy providers, telecommunications companies, and public authorities have been relying on Postcon National for more than 20 years to move their business letters, catalogues, packages, and parcels. The company’s services include the professional pick-up, sorting, and transport as well as franking services, consolidation of letters, and additional hybrid and digital services.
