K&L Gates Advises RWE Group on Sale of Georgia Biomass

Pittsburgh – Global law firm K&L Gates LLP recently advised RWE Group on its sale of Georgia Biomass, a large-scale producer of industrial wood pellets located in Waycross, Georgia. RWE Group, headquartered in Essen, Germany, is one of the world's leading companies for renewable energies. 

The cross-border team from K&L Gates that advised RWE on the sale was led by partners David Edgar (Pittsburgh) and Dr. Thomas Lappe (Berlin), and included associates Ashby Hardesty (New York) and Ian Edwards (Pittsburgh) and other partners and associates across the firm’s global platform.
