Prior to joining the firm, Hannah served in a key role at U.S. firm. As the co-lead of the Life Sciences group at her prior firm, Hannah helped clients in the biotechnology industry to design and execute a global patent strategy that is integral to their business objectives. She guided clients on a variety of patent issues, including strategic counseling, application drafting, patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate analysis, and noninfringement and invalidity opinions.
She handled matters in a variety of technology areas including cell therapies, gene editing technologies, viral vectors, monoclonal antibodies, RNA interference, fusion proteins, manufacturing of biologics, diagnostic methods, and medical devices. She worked with clients across all stages of growth, from early-stage startups and their venture capital investors to large pharmaceutical companies.
