False Claims Act Litigation in Healthcare, Hosted by Federal Bar Association Health Law Section

This webinar will give both an overview of False Claims Act (FCA) enforcement in the health care arena, as well as a summary of recent developments and trends in government enforcement actions against health care fraud.

As health care attorneys are well aware, the health care system in the United States is the most heavily regulated industry other than nuclear energy, and the penalties for violating the regulations can be draconian – even when it is the result of honest mistakes. This webinar will highlight ways that health care attorneys can prevent their clients from being the subject of a government investigation and how to protect them if they are investigated.

The subject matter is appropriate for health care regulatory and transactional attorneys, as well as for litigators – and both younger attorneys and experienced attorneys are welcome.
