Digital Markets Act: Quo vadis? Co-hosted with Lexology
The European Commission’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) proposal provides an entirely new and specific legal framework for the main online intermediaries, including social media, online market places, and other online platforms. The DMA is designed to address competition law concerns, including on the use of data, identified by competition regulators over the recent years with the rapid expansion of digital markets.

- Obligations and prohibitions for companies identified as gatekeepers
- How the DMA will be enforced and by whom
- The European Parliament’s main expectations with respect to the DMA
- The main contentious issues in the European Parliament with regard to the DMA
- The expected legislative timeline
