Pittsburgh - Business news outlet Forbes magazine has recognized global law firm K&L Gates LLP among the top corporate law firms in America and as one of the most recommended firms in the area of litigation and dispute resolution as part of Forbes’ first-ever legal industry review.
The rankings are based on the results of an independent survey that collected more than 8,000 nominations from over 2,500 in-house and private practice lawyers and other legal professionals. K&L Gates is one of fewer than 250 law firms—out of the thousands of firms across the United States that serve corporate clients—to earn Forbes’ distinction as one of America’s top law firms.
“We are truly honored to be recognized by our clients and peers in this inaugural ranking of top corporate firms,” said K&L Gates’ Global Managing Partner Jim Segerdahl. “We believe this ranking is a direct reflection of the superior client service that K&L Gates’ lawyers deliver across our platform and practices, and are delighted to be among the most recommended firms in litigation and dispute resolution, which has long been an area of strength for our firm.”
The Forbes ranking follows other recent accolades for K&L Gates that have included being named to Law360’s annual Global 20 list; as one of the top 20 strongest U.S. law firm brands in legal market research company Acritas’ U.S. Law Firm Brand Index 2019; and among the world’s top law firm brands in the 2019 BTI Brand Elite.
K&L Gates’ litigation and dispute resolution lawyers span the globe and handle complex, multidimensional commercial and regulatory disputes, including international arbitrations, civil and criminal trials, deal litigation, domestic and international class actions, and appellate work. The practice’s lawyers have a successful track record in the various phases of litigation, including trial, and are recognized as being some of the foremost practitioners in their fields. The group was also recently recognized as a “Litigation Standout” for complex commercial litigation in the 2020 BTI Litigation Outlook.
