Re-appointed as the firm responsible for Australian ticket matters for an event hosted by an international sports governing body.
Advised a professional American football league on trademark, copyright, and patent matters in connection with the XFL football league, including clearing and filing trademark applications for all team names and logos.
Advised a multinational company that administers soccer/football clubs throughout the world in relation to trademark registrations and associated logos following its acquisition of an Australian football club. Filed trademark applications for an acquired Chinese club and secured its trademarks around the world.
Filed a range of heritage trademark applications for an Australian national sporting league relating to a merchandising campaign for defunct teams. Also involved numerous demands to U.S. and Australian websites promoting merchandise for those defunct teams.

Advised a global sporting goods brand on trademark, design, trade dress, copyright, passing off, unfair competition, and customs enforcement matters in the European Union and United Kingdom, including acting for various business units in litigation and enforcement at the U.K. Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, the U.K. High Court, EUIPO Boards of Appeal, EU General Court, and Court of Justice.
Advised a global sports entertainment organization on all aspects of intellectual property procurement and enforcement, including litigation and enforcement before U.S. state and federal courts and the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Handled numerous domain names and online issues for several Australian sports teams. Advised on various trademark registrations and brand portfolio management, including protection of trademarks and playing uniform designs.
Managed the international IP portfolio of an Australian sports governing body, which includes trademarks relating to the men's and women's Australian national test cricket teams, the Ashes test series, the men's and women's professional domestic Twenty20 leagues, BBL and Women's BBL, the names and logos of BBL clubs, and various new media, social media, and children's education programs.
Advised an Olympic and Paralympic organizing committee on IP, sponsorship, licensing, ambush marketing, anti-counterfeiting, advertising, merchandising, data privacy, and new media issues.

Involved trademark clearance and searching, filing 19 trademark applications, and prosecuting the marks to registration, including the negotiation of numerous trademark co-existence agreements.
