The issue was addressed under English law before the LCIA in ad hoc arbitration in London. Settled in mediation.
Advised an energy consortium composed of one of the top wind energy producers globally and a leading engineering and technology company on a project to develop an initial 500 megawatt floating wind farm off the coast of South Korea.
Assisted a leading offshore drilling contractor in connection with a dispute regarding the refurbishment and upgrade of two jack-up drilling rigs. The rigs were being upgraded to satisfy contractual requirements under contracts for the hire of the rigs. The construction activities on the rigs were significantly delayed and disputes arose over hundreds of Project Change Requests issued during the works. We provided advice and assistance to facilitate the resolution of the various disputes and the departure of the rigs from the shipyard short of arbitration.

With the combination, the project is positioned to leverage the parties' respective expertise to collaborate on design; investment; engineering, procurement, and construction; operations and maintenance; and financing. The combination of the three companies will help to bring a strong partnership to the Taiwan offshore wind energy market.
