Represented an Italian menswear couture house on various day-to-day HR issues, including contractual concerns, visas, redundancy, and performance management.
Represented a California burger chain in a pay equity audit on manager compensation.
Represented a biopharmaceutical company as frequent and regular outside counsel, providing advice on a wide array of employment-related projects and issues, including drafting and revision of policies and agreements, assistance in compliance with employment laws, assessment of legal considerations with respect to management of employees with performance or conduct issues, and guidance in the adoption and implementation of policies. Also provided guidance in connection with various workplace investigations, employment terminations, and a reduction in force, as well as coordinating work in other areas such as benefits and enforcement of restrictive covenants.
Reviewed the whole range of employment agreements for the Italian branch of a private liberal arts college. Renewed fixed-term employment agreements to make them compliant with Italian labor law. Included termination of certain employment agreements, review of commercial agreements executed by the client, and management of privacy and data-protection topics.
Represented a major music television network in Japan in connection with corporate restructuring, including structuring the plan, dealing with the labor union, and several employment termination litigation matters.
Represented a five-star, luxury London hotel on various day-to-day HR issues, including redundancy processes and performance management. Assisted with the preparation of client's documentation, such as contracts, handbooks, confidentiality agreements, and documentation relating to the supply of temporary staff.
Represented a publicly traded, integrated media organization and global entertainment leader on various day-to-day HR issues, including maternity leave, settlement agreements, and severance policies in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates.
